Includes price tags, accolade cards, datasheets, neck tags, shelf talkers, etc. Developing the creative in-house or with designer. Then collecting quotes from print shops to get the items into production. Ensuring proper distribution.

Collecting donations through the tasting room that will be donated to a cause in the month of July. Collaborating with the Tasting Room team on logistics like which organization we will be supporting, how will funds be collected, goals of the campaign, developing content for a press release, blog post and social media, and how to promote the campaign.

A student with excellent writing, strong communication, skills in website management and interest in digital & traditional media would be the ideal candidate for this project This co-op position will focus on - Marketing plan for OceanWise - Collaborating with OceanWise Restaurants - Developing Materials Creating a marketing plan for an OceanWise Campaign that will run this summer. Collaborating with OceanWise restaurants to run a wine and dine feature where part of the proceeds supports OceanWise. Promotion is designed to run in upper echelon restaurants in Vancouver and Calgary. In doing this campaign, the student will also develop some recipe cards by facilitating chef/wine paired dishes.

This project is an opportunity to learn various elements of being a part of a sustainability focused business. This project will focus on: - Environmental monitoring and assessments. - Data entry and analysis. - Vineyard management. Phase 8: Vineyard Harvest Intern Be an active member to the vineyard team during key growing milestones in the vineyard. To help the vineyard manager monitor the vineyards for insect and disease presence, continually evaluate the vineyards for potential crop yield and observe and comment on general vineyard health. Sample and quality assessment of grapes. Different technologies for pest pressure and irrigation rates.

Phase 7: Special Sustainability Project: Drought Resistant Landscaping Take inventory of current landscaping areas and species. Develop a plan to transition to drought resistant varieties. Also develop a plan for the spaces around new greenhouse space that promotes low water usage, natural species and biodiversity. Will also assist in daily maintenance of the grounds.

Develop a plan to enhance and widen the vegetation barrier between the hayfields and river on Monte Creek and Lion’s Head properties.

Phase 5: Invasive Species Control Do an inventory of the plant species on Monte Creek Winery’s 1,200-acre property and develop a plan to remove invasive species from the land. Working with the Kamloops Grasslands Council to ensuring we are doing what we can to support grasslands in our area.

Phase 4: Wildlife Restoration Do an inventory of local raptors on Monte Creek Winery’s property and develop a plan on how to support these species with the goal in mind to reduce the rodent populations in vineyards. Building perches to encourage more species to make their home in and around the vineyard.

Develop a plan for planting, ensure proper maintenance, accurate watering and harvesting schedule. Plant the garden and monitor yield and supplies.
