Monte Creek Winery is looking for a pair of natural resource sciences students who want to gain experience in wildlife restoration, data entry, invasive species control and vineyard management. This project is an opportunity to learn various elements of being a part of a sustainability focused business.
This project will focus on:
- Environmental monitoring and assessments.
- Data entry and analysis.
- Vineyard management.
Phase 5: Invasive Species Control
Do an inventory of the plant species on Monte Creek Winery’s 1,200-acre property and develop a plan to remove invasive species from the land. Working with the Kamloops Grasslands Council to ensuring we are doing what we can to support grasslands in our area.
