Virtual Internship Opportunity: Marketing
Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for (2) students. Two students to work together on a joint plan for Amped2Play Inc. The Marketing Plan would highlight the main products we have concentrated on in the last 4 weeks. - ISOLOVEPLAY Box - Online Training Programs - Access4You App The primary focus for the student will be: Market Research - Investigate our competitive landscape; perform market segmentation to identify the ideal target market for (new or existing product or service); conduct customer surveys or focus groups to gain insights into the perceptions and behaviours of our target customers; identify expansion opportunities; identify key messaging for (new product or service). Prospecting Strategy - Make recommendations for market penetration and suggest an outreach process while also developing and implementing targeted prospecting; review our prospect messaging, make improvement recommendations, and create new outreach content. Work with Communications Manager: Branding/Communications : Amped2Play has an established brand and a strong communications strategy.Students will need to understand it well to provide suggestions and assistance to Amped2Play Inc. Public Relations - Develop and implement a PR strategy; create collateral, including press releases, user testimonials, case studies, and customer stories. SEO Strategy & Recommendations - Develop and implement an SEO strategy; provide content suggestions and recommendations to increase search visibility; increase our inbound traffic and optimize the customer journey; increase inbound leads. Strategic Social Media Marketing - Conduct an audit of our current social media presence and/or other current communication channel(s); develop and implement strategies for improving our online presence and increasing engagement; create a content calendar; creating useable social media and blog posts. Our goal at the end of this experience is: Market Research - For the student(s) to help us gain a better understanding of our target market(s) and ensure we are optimally positioned and our product(s) and pricing aligns with our target sector/customer(s). Public Relations - For the student(s) to help us effectively communicate our brand's story and mission to a broad audience. Work with Communications Manager: Branding/Communications : For the student(s) to help us improve our brand's presence and capture greater market share. Virtual Internship Opportunity: Mobile App Developer
AMPED2PLAY has an extensive history in technology that includes data applications, system design, and spatial (geographic) data solutions. Although founded to deliver play-based solutions, AMPED2PLAY uses technology to support its three business areas of Diversity & Inclusion, Performance and GEOAccess, with GEOAccess being focused on technology solutions. Project Scope Our present focus within the GEOAccess business area is the launch of a mobile App called ACCESS4You. The App’s premise deals with the current lack of accurate, quality-controlled, location-based information about accessible services, facilities, and programming available to consumers with visible, non-visible, and changing adaptive needs. Direct feedback from the adaptive community indicates difficulty when accessing arts and entertainment, health and beauty, housing and accommodation, medical care, sport and recreation, and transportation services. This issue reflects a global lack of connectivity to access for consumer services. ACCESS4You provides consumers with adaptive needs the capability to match their personalized accessibility needs with what is currently available from both for-profit and non-profit service providers. COVID-19 Impact Given the onset of the global pandemic we now face, recognition that individuals with adaptive needs are often an extremely vulnerable population has become clearly evident. ACCESS4You will also become a mobile resource supporting the changing landscape caused by the COVID-19. The primary focus for the student will be: We are looking for an innovative Mobile App Developer who can creatively link data gathered from individuals with adaptive needs and service providers (both for and non-profit) who see the marketable benefit of providing services to those with adaptive needs. The data is geospatial in nature, and users must have the ability to view, query and negotiate the gathered data in a geospatial context, with a focus on ease of use and mobile functionality. The App is intended to use existing APIs and where logical, the development of additional APIs can be accomplished. The data gathered through the App will be managed in a cloud environment, of which machine learning protocols will be developed and implemented to ensure the data available to the user is current through ongoing validation and provides user based feedback (ratings) and informative marketable strategies to service providers through a geospatial feedback process. The successful candidate will work closely with AMPED2PLAY leadership team in building the final solution of ACCESS4You, which is currently in development. The ideal candidate will be cross-functional and interdisciplinary, able to learn and work in more than one development team role, such as system design and analysis, application programming, database design, programming and application testing. Role and Responsibilities: Gain experience focusing on mobile applications development in iOS or Android environment. Will learn more about fundamental AI and machine learning concepts. Prior experience in data science projects is highly desirable. Will gain experience in product development experience, preferably in regulated industry, and in high volume consumer market. Gain experience with integrated front-end, back-end applications or data service. Will become familiar with Agile development process and has been contributing to all phases of the SW product development cycle. Understand the key elements required towards achieving high software quality.
