The Office of Applied Research and Innovation is dedicated to supporting local industry and community partners throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. It serves as the College’s main point of contact for industry, community groups and government interested in applied research collaborations focused on solving real-world problems that impede the development and growth of our industries and communities. Our students come from programs found within the schools of Business/IT, Applied Arts and Tourism, and Engineering Technology . Based on the needs of the company project, we can highlight and identify students from multiple disciplines in order to execute on the project. Students can complete projects individually or in small groups based on your needs. The timeline is flexible as students can be hired until the last week of January, but will need to complete 420 hours of work.
