Project: Human City has developed an ecosystem for open work on projects, programs, and co-ops through their work direction app, Co-Quest, and learning management system, Lotus Learning. The goal of this project is to optimize public crowd work sourcing methods and onboarding processes for these platforms. The current methods need to be evaluated and improved to enhance efficiency, user experience, and overall effectiveness. This project will provide HR students with the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge in human resource management, recruitment, and onboarding to a real-world scenario. The team will analyze existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose actionable improvements. The main goal for the project is to have a pre-law student review the terms and conditions for Project: Human City's mobile apps and assess potential liabilities and legal issues that may occur with the use of the mobile apps. Rainbow Co-op Internship

For a "Rainbow Co-op Internship" that aims to create a diverse coalition of minority social groups and communities aimed at liberation and representation, similar to the Rainbow Coalition created by Fred Hampton, here are the project goals tailored for an internship program, utilizing the mobile app platform "Co-Quest": Project Title: Rainbow Co-op Internship Program on Co-Quest Overall Objective The main goal of this internship is to develop and promote an inclusive and diverse coalition of minority social groups and communities through the mobile app "Co-Quest." This program aims to empower these groups by providing a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and action towards liberation and equitable representation. Specific Goals Community Engagement and Coalition Building: Develop strategies to engage various minority communities through the Co-Quest app, fostering a sense of belonging and collaboration. Organize virtual meetings, discussions, and workshops that encourage interaction and unity among diverse groups. Content Development and Educational Resources: Create informative content that highlights the history, goals, and achievements of coalitions like the Rainbow Coalition. Develop educational modules and resources that promote understanding of social justice, civil rights, and community activism. App Features and Accessibility: Work with developers to enhance the app’s features, ensuring they cater specifically to the needs of a diverse coalition, including multi-language support and accessibility features. Layer Api Developer

The primary objective of this project is to design and implement a robust cross-platform Layers API that will serve as the backbone for managing user-generated content across the P:HC ecosystem. This API will enable seamless integration and interaction between different platforms, ensuring a consistent and efficient user experience. The API will facilitate the storage, retrieval, and synchronization of user data, including preferences, game progress, and customized content, across various devices and platforms. In addition to the API development, a key component of this project involves the frontend development of Co-Quest, a new feature within the ecosystem. The role responsible for this will focus on creating a user-friendly interface that supports the dynamic and interactive elements of Co-Quest. This will include developing responsive layouts, integrating the Layers API to fetch and display user data, and implementing interactive design elements that enhance user engagement and satisfaction. Together, these efforts will not only improve the functionality and reach of the P:HC ecosystem but also enhance the overall user experience by providing a cohesive and integrated environment for both existing and new features.

Multi-Media Internship

this Project aims to develop the media profile of Project: Human City, there are 5 different designer roles offered at this time: videographer and editor, in this project you will plan, shoot and edit P:HC on the Street Videos in downtown Toronto Spotstitch Avatar Designer, in this project you will design Spotstitch Avatars for users to build custom avatars for game play Social media Manager, in this role you will design media content for instagram, TikTok, Facebook and schedule content posting Blender Designer, in this project you will design game assets for P:HC's game for "Regenquest" Game Design Manager, in this project you will design and manage the development of Regenquest and develop the gameplay mechanics

Spotstitch x Nomadic Mapping System PHASE 1

The Goal of this project is to create the base for a dynamic mapping system, leveraging google maps, students are expected to: build-out the community group creation process to enable neighborhoods with uniquely drawn borders,  landmark carding,  photo geotagging (with unique sorting design based on spatial overlays),  Post requests (with boundaries like time, pin location, active radius/interaction radius, bounties - option for payments, if team has capacity, beta ui can include and team will integrate with other projects or internal work) Accept requests spatial overlay filters based on group assets and social mapping features like a scavenger hunt feature created from the base features mentioned previously.  This set of features would enable the mobile app to host community networks on single spatial overlays creating a stacked ecosystem for multiple different types of organizations and networks. Please see the attached proposal to get better context on the network design of Spotstitch.

This will involve working closely with the company to understand their vision and values, and then translating that into visual branding elements for their mobile and web apps.

Project: Human City Business Development Internship

The main goal for the project is to develop the human city program, which aims to reach an unprecedented level of bioethics by guaranteeing every human's basic needs are met. This includes establishing IoT infrastructure, free access to the Internet, a global standardized free education system, social learning, environmental stewardship, and equal opportunity for all.

Project: Human City AR Camera Tool

The main goal for the project is to build an AR camera tool to be embedded into 3 different mobile apps. The tool should have expansive AR capacity and be optimized for use case, including features such as gesture control, face masking, and object scanning. The tool will be developed using an existing C++ project and Unity.

AR UI/UX Design

Our company has several products that use AR in different ways, we would like a group to review the multiple use cases we designed for and create one unified design pattern that can be used across all 3 of our ar products. Tasks may include: Conducting background research on our existing web application for the product. Identifying key areas of our current product and how they might translate to a mobile application. Learning and using various software design tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use Figma as this is the latest and greatest tool currently available. Creation of a screen by screen UX / UI prototype of a native mobile application which can be used on both iOS and Android Conducting UX / UI testing with real potential users potentially involving paper prototypes or other software tools to support this

Project: Human City Website Development

Our company conducts not-for-profit work by creating digital tools and democratising the process of social good! We would like to work with students to develop a new website that is easy to maintain while providing an appealing interface for users. This can be achieved through Webflow,. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Researching different site-building tools and their associated advantages / disadvantages. Conducting a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable. Building a website, with our assistance in providing the content. Providing training on updating and maintaining the website. Bonus steps in the process would also include: Testing prototypes with customers and refining ideas with feedback.

Sportstick (Green Health)
